Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 50-year-old retail clerk from Carson City was arrested at 12:53 a.m. Oct. 21 on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, driving without a seat belt, driving without a license and failure to use a turn signal. Bail was set at $1,253.

• A 21-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 2:25 a.m. Oct. 21 on suspicion of violation of bail conditions, probation violation and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $5,132.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Accident at Airport Road and Carmine Street at 3:13 p.m.

• A flat iron was reportedly stolen from a salon on South Carson Street about 5:15 p.m.

• Report of a pit bull locked inside a car all day on Lovelace Way at 6:15 p.m.

• Report of silver and historic coins missing from a home on Lotus Circle at 7:27 p.m.

• An 86-year-old woman mistakenly drove her car off a hill at the end of Kings Canyon Road at 9:21 p.m. A resident nearby heard the woman honking her horn and called police. The woman sustained a head injury and bleeding on her wrist from the airbag deploying.
