Six girls from Girl Scout Troop 196 helped plant daffodil bulbs in front of City Hall Friday as they worked toward earning their rainbow patch. Heather Mandel, center, and Lisa Schulz, left, work alongside the girls. Marge Cole with the Mark Twain Garden Club said club president Sable Shaw coordinated with members of the Desert Garden Club to organize the project. Three garden clubs donated about 300 daffodil bulbs, some of which will also be planted at Mills Park.
