Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 44-year-old Carson City man was arrested at

10 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of Hot Springs Road on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.

• Steven Helton, 24, a graphic designer from Carson City, was arrested at 12:06 a.m. Friday in the 400 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor destruction of property. Bail was set at $1,000.

• William Richard Hammond, 20, of Carson City, was arrested at 8:26 p.m. Thursday in the 2500 block of Pinion Pine Road on suspicion of felony failure to appear in drug court and probation violation. No bail was set.

• Brian Mathew Hayes, 35, a carnival worker from Glendale, Ariz., was arrested at Mills Park on Thursday night on a felony parole violation out of California. No bail was set.

• Steven David Martin, 52, of Carson City, was arrested at 4:39 p.m. Thursday at Savemart on Highway 50 East on suspicion of felony probation violation and petty larceny. He allegedly attempted to steal allergy medication.

• A 56-year-old Dayton man was arrested at 6:49 p.m. Thursday at Lompa Lane and Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and having an open container of alcohol in the car. Bail was set at $1,319.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Arrest on Highway 50 East at 10:43 a.m. in Dayton.

• Arrest on Grey Bluffs Drive in Fernley at 9:01 a.m.

• Report at 12:11 p.m. of a stop sign at Wall Street and Louie Way in Dayton run over and a vehicle's taillights left behind.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Crimson Road in Dayton at 5:21 p.m.

• Report of a vehicle striking two wild horses on Highway 50 Alternate, just south of Fernley High School at 9:50 p.m.
