Gerald Hurley, 71, of Carson City, died Aug. 31, 2010. He was born March 29, 1939, in Oakland, Calif. He is survived by brother Jim Hurley of Zephyr Cove, and nieces and nephews. A funeral mass was celebrated Sept. 8 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Carson City. Burial will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, Calif. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
