VIRGINIA CITY INTERNATIONALCAMEL RACES
Come up to Virginia City and watch the annual camel races. There is fun for the entire family with camel and ostrich races, food, drinks, specialty acts and the parade.
You can catch a glimpse of Nevada Appeal writer Teri Vance on the back of one theses enormous animals, and I give her all the credit for getting up there. OK, I have ridden in a lawn mower race but camels, no thank you. Go, Teri, Go!
