The City Center Citizen's Advisory Committee meeting will hear an update about the downtown redevelopment project from P3 Development at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Sierra Room of the community center, 831 E. William St.

P3's Mike Courtney had hoped to have a feasibility study ready to present, but too many financial details still need to be fine-tuned, along with other details, so the study presentation has been delayed again.

Other meetings scheduled this week are:

• The Open Space Advisory Committee will discuss a potential transaction and acquisition of about 405 acres of land located in the Carson River Canyon presently owned by John Serpa when it meets Monday.

The meeting is set for 6 p.m. in the Capitol Conference Room of City Hall, 201 N. Carson St.

For more information, call 887-2262.

• The Carson City Planning Commission will consider a special use permit to relocate a trailer presently located at the Carson City Corporate Yard. Carson City Animal Control would like to move it onto its property to be used as office space to allow more room in the main facility to take care of animals until permanent offices can be built.

The commission also will consider special use permits for Jeff Herman and Slot World. For more information, call 887-2180.
