How dapper is your crapper? The World Championship Outhouse Races come back to historic Virginia City Oct 2-3.
This fun and easy competition is open to anyone who wants to put a three-man team together - must be 18 and older - one to ride on the throne, and the other two to push their outhouse.
Entry fee is $50, and all proceeds go to the Virginia City Convention & Tourism Authority to help fund the event and promote the living history that thrives in The Comstock.

The event itself is free to the public and promises to be a fun and humorous time for the whole family.
The official parade of outhouses starts at noon Oct. 3, right along "C" Street
downtown, followed by a double elimination tournament from
1-5 p.m.
