September 15, 1916 - July 8, 2011

Margaret Virginia Scott Spann, 94 years old, passed away on July 8, 2011 in Kennewick, Washington. She was born on September 15, 1916 in Lewis County, Tennessee to George and Cora Scott. She married the love of her life, Willie (Bill) Spann in 1936. They were married 65 years when Bill passed away in 2001.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, Virginia Ann Wood (daughter), Thomas "Tite" Arnold (son), and her siblings Alec, Arch, George, Roy, Lloyd, Claude, and Annie Mae. She is survived by her sister Mary Ainsworth of Carson City, Nev. and Billy Scott of Phoenix, Arizona. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; thirteen great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was known as "Granny" by most of her family and friends. She lived in Carson City on and off for 28 years. The last 4 years of her life she lived in Michigan and Washington. We will miss hearing all of her life stories and her delicious home cooked meals. She will truly be missed by everyone.

The inurnment service was held at Lone Mountain Cemetery on August 1, 2011. Granny and Grandad are together again.
