SHERIFFS' LOG

Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent unless proved guilty in court:

* Miguel Peregrina-Cruz, 28, a laborer from Carson City, was arrested at 7:56 a.m. in the 1100 block of Saliman Road on suspicion of felony possession of false identification. Bail was set at $2,500.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

* Report of graffiti on the new water tank on Prison Hill. A juvenile was arrested.

* Coroner call at 12:19 p.m. in the 3000 block of North Ormsby Boulevard.

* Jewelry was reported stolen at 5:26 p.m. from the 1700 block of Koontz Lane.

* Report at 6:16 p.m. of a motorcycle stolen from a shed in the 4400 block of Mustang Drive.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

* Report at 12:16 p.m. of a cell phone, satellite receiver, and six $2 bills missing from a home on Six Mile Canyon Road.

* Arrest at 4 p.m. on Ramsey Street in Silver Springs.

* Misdemeanor arrest at 5:49 p.m. on Eaglewood Drive in Fernley.

* A woman reported at 8:51 p.m. that the bumper from her vehicle was stolen while it was parked at the Fernley fairgrounds.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday

* Report at 11:37 a.m. of a large rattlesnake curled up on a Main Street porch in Gold Hill.

* Rollover accident at 6:55 p.m. on Six Mile Canyon Road.
