Malinda "Linda" M. Norris, 93, of Carson City died Jan. 29, 2011. She was born in Boone, N.C., on April 9, 1917, to Henry C. and Gertrude Norris. She was preceded in death by her granddaughters Shelley Erin Atkins and Linda Sue Foote. Survivors include her daughters Carolyn Garrett and Sue Allen; sons Garry Garrett and wife Marilyn, and Mike Atkins and partner Darryl Keene.
