Women Veterans Summit features tea and information

The Nevada Office of Veterans Services in partnership with the VA Sierra Nevada Healthcare System will host its fourth annual Nevada Women Veterans Summit with High Tea from noon-5 p.m. March 11, at the Governor's Mansion, 606 Mountain St.

The event honors Women's History Month by educating and celebrating Nevada's women veterans. Featured keynote speakers are West Point graduate, Olympian, and author Donna McAleer and Operation Iraqi Freedom POW and Bronze Star and Purple Heart Medal recipient Shoshana Johnson.

The summit is open to all female active duty service members, reservists, National Guard members, and veterans in Nevada.

Registration is 11 a.m.-noon. Tea will be served at 2 p.m.
