This week's senior spotlight is on Trey Jensen. Trey has a grade-point average of 3.6 and is enrolled in advanced-placement government, human anatomy, rhetoric/persuasion, and trigonometry/precalculus.

In addition to doing well in the classroom, Trey is active in the CHS sports program. He has earned varsity letters in football, basketball and track.

He was named to the Northern 4A All-Region football team and earned Northern 4A Honorable Mention quarterback award. Trey would like to continue playing either football or basketball at the college level.

The Brewery Arts Center Performing Arts Collaborative is presenting "Meshugga-nuns," another wild, wacky Nunsense musical featuring several CHS personalities.

Productions are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Karen Chandler, theater arts teacher at Carson High, is also the artistic director of this BAC group.

She also plays Sister Mary Amnesia, the country western singing nun who lost her memory. Mother Superior is played by Michon Chandler-Douglas, Karen's real life daughter and 1996 CHS alumni.

The band features all CHS folk: On the keyboards is Katie Lauder, an alumni of the music department, and her sister, senior Victoria Lauder playing the synthesizer. Bryan Akerly, class of 2010, is on the drums.

The community is fortunate indeed to keep these talents in our midst for entertainment years after they leave our halls. Tickets are $15 and $18 at www.brewery

arts.org.
