Q: What is your favorite sport(s), and how did you get started playing it/them?

A: Wrestling. My dad wrestled when he was a kid and I wanted to be just like him so I decided to try it.

Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete, and why?

A: Lance Armstrong because he showed everyone that even if you go through something very difficult and painful (cancer) you can always bounce back and achieve something that no one expected you to achieve.

Q: What has been your most thrilling moment in sports?

A: Placing fourth at state a couple of weekends ago.

Q: Do you have a role model, and why is he/she your role model?

A: My role model would have to be Rulon Gardner because he got lost snowmobiling and was injured enough to where the doctors said he wouldn't be able to wrestle again but he bounced back and took third at the 2004 Olympics only a couple of years after the incident.

Q: What sport have you always wanted to try, but never have and why not?

A: I've always wanted to try to snowboard or ski but I've never been able to because during the winter I'm always wrestling.

Q: Do you have any hobbies, and if so, what are they?

A: I like to mountain bike. I like it because it's nice to get some fresh air and enjoy nature with my friends.

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: I have many, but it would have to be either my cousin's hamburgers or my Aunt Missy's spaghetti.

Q: What is the last non-academic book you read?

A: "Never Stop Pushing," It's a book about Rulon Gardner.

Q: Who is your favorite musician or group?

A: My favorite musician is Sam Adams.

Q: After graduation, where do you plan to attend college and what are you looking at in terms of a major?

A: I don't have any plans for college yet, but I would like to go to the University of Santa Barbara and study business.

Q: Do you have a favorite TV show?

A: My favorite TV show is Tosh.0.

Q: Tell us something about you that would surprise most of your friends.

A: My bedtime is 9 p.m. and I like having a bedtime that is early.
