KIRKWOOD, Calif. - Carson High finished sixth in the girls race and seventh in the boys race in a Tahoe League ski meet at Kirkwood Wednesday afternoon.
North Tahoe's boys and girls finished first, while South Tahoe was second. Incline's girls took third and the Whittell boys finished third.
Kat Fulwider finished 10th with a combined time of 68.81. Danielle Beasom was 22nd in 81.53 and Mary Novak was 28th in 86.70.
Skylar VanRensselaer was the top Carson performer on the boys side. He took 12th with a combined time of 66.30. Simon White was 39th in 77.95 and Chris Fernandez was 42nd in 87.90.
The next meet is scheduled for 10 a.m. at Alpine Meadows on Jan. 18.
Carson freshman win
The Carson freshman boys basketball team beat North Valleys 69-46 Tuesday night. Kyle Denning led the team with 17 points.
