The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Debra Meredith, 54, was arrested at 4 p.m. Monday on 5th street on suspicion of an outstanding warrant, a felony. Bail was set at $1,000.
• Katie Bindert, 20, was arrested at 2:17 p.m. Monday on the 1300 block of N. Carson St., on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Bail was set at $3,764. The arresting deputy reported Bindert said she has a problem with narcotics, "and needs to get her life back on track."
• A 27-year-old unemployed man was arrested at 10:04 p.m. Monday on suspicion of reckless driving, speeding more than 11 mph over the speed limit, following too close, failure to maintain a single lane and resisting an officer, all misdemeanors. Bail was set at $1,335.
• A 26-year-old woman was arrested at 12:52 a.m. Tuesday on the 800 block of S. Carson St., on suspicion of driving under the influence with an open container of beer in the car, both misdemeanors. Her blood alcohol content was .194, more than twice the legal limit, according to the arrest report. Bail was set at $1,319.
