Kat Fulwider placed third overall and the Carson High girls ski team finished fourth in Wednesday's league meet at Sierra-At-Tahoe Resort.
Fulwider was timed in 1:38.52 for her two slalom runs. Danielle Beasom clocked a 1:59.86 en route to 21st place. Mary Novak was 28th in 2:09.84, Fiona McElhany was 29th in 2:10.89, Carolyn Carter was 33rd in 2:14.80 and Kylee Johnson was 36th in 2:23.75.
The boys squad finished sixth, giving Carson a fifth-place finish when combining the boys and girls finishes.
Skylar Van Rensselaer led the way with an 11th-place finish (1:36.29), while Simon White was 29th in 1:51.83. Danny Okimura was 30th in 1:54.91 and Andy Garcia was 32nd in 1:58.05. Dillon Winkelman finished 37th in 2:04.20 and Ryan Spelts was 38th in 2:08.38.
Taylor Laird was first in the JV race , clocking a 2:40.3.
Carson returns to action next THursday at Heavenly at 9 a.m.
