Billy Joe Jeffery Sr., 80, of Carson City died Jan. 27, 2011. He was born in Leachville, Ark., on Sept. 6, 1930, to Burton and Bessie Jeffery. He was preceded in death by his daughter Margarett Morgan; brothers Levi Jeffery and Charlie Slayton; and sister Georgia Harguess. Among his survivors are his wife Rowena; daughter Beth Rychard; son Billy Joe Jeffery Jr.; brother Bob Slayton; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. No services are scheduled. Capitol City Cremation & Burial is in charge of arrangements.
