A motor home engine fire that has spread to the living compartment has shut down traffic on the freeway between Fairview Drive and Highway 50 East.
The vehicle fire is in the southbound lanes near the Fairview Drive exit.
Traffic is not being allowed onto the freeway past Highway 50 East. Northbound traffic is open.
