The Nevada Bullets scored three runs in the first inning, but were blanked the rest of the way in a 7-3 Far West League loss to the Redding Colt 45s Wednesday night at Western Nevada College.

The teams conclude the three-game series today at 5 p.m.

Scott Greene, who had been the Bullets' hottest pitcher in the last couple of weeks, was tagged with the loss. He yielded five runs and five hits in 5.2 innings of work.

Redding trailed 3-1 after the first inning, but added two in the second, one in the third, one in the sixth and two in the seventh to even the series at one game apiece.

Colby Blueberg led the Nevada offense with a 2-for-4 effort and two RBI, Connor Eppard, Chris Woolley and Beau Day all added a hit apiece.

Brandon Healy and Tino Lipson each had two hits and two RBIs for Redding.
