The Carson City Planning Commission will handle a very short agenda when it meets at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The only item for planners to address Wednesday is a special use permit from Mike Michell and Susan Dorr for property owner Carson City School District.

They are requesting placement of storage containers at Eagle Valley Middle School for storing hurdle and track equipment.

The Growth Management Commission, which meets in the middle of the planners' meeting, could take action to recommend to the board of supervisors a resolution establishing a growth management rate and number of residential building permit entitlements. This has historically been based on a maximum growth rate of three percent.

They could also recommend the commercial and industrial daily water usage threshold for 2012, which historically has been 7,500 gallons per day, above which, commission approval is required.

The commissions meet in the Sierra Room of the Carson City Community Center, 851 E. William St.
