SPORT: Baseball


Q: What is your favorite sport, and how did you get started playing it?

A: Baseball. I started T-ball when I was 5 and never looked back. I love the game of baseball and have always had a ton of passion for it.


Q: Who is your favorite pro athlete and why?

A: Tim Tebow. I've always admired his work ethic and his passion to get better. With his hard work, the sky is the limit.


Q: What has been your most thrilling moment in sports?

A: Last year, playing College of Southern Nevada at our place. I got the opportunity to come out of the bullpen. With the amount of fans, the atmosphere was very exciting and fun to pitch in.


Q: Do you have a role model(s) and why is he/she your role model?

A: My parents would have to be my role models. They come to as many games as they can, and when I have kids, I hope I can support my son or daughter as well as they have supported me.


Q: Do you have a teammate you hang around with a lot away from the field and why?

A: I am usually with my roommate Zach Hendrix. We attended high school together and have been playing baseball together for about six years.


Q: Do you have any hobbies?

A: I'm an avid fisherman, and I like to go on any lake or river when time allows. I also enjoy playing golf, especially in the summer when the weather is nice.


Q: What is your favorite food?

A: Chicken fettucini alfredo with garlic bread.


Q: What is the last non-academic book you read?

A: The sports psychology book. It really helps me in the mental aspect of baseball.


Q: Who is your favorite musician or group?

A: Lil Wayne


Q: After graduation, where do you plan to attend college and what are you looking to major in?

A: University of Central Florida is on the top of my list. I'm hoping to major in Construction Management or Business Management.


Q: Do you have a favorite TV show?

A: I enjoy watching the History Channel. Also I like watching baseball games on TV, too.


Q: Tell us something that would surprise most of your friends?

A: Last year I played a round of golf at Silver oak and made a hole-in-one for the first time in my life.
