Carson High School's Senior Senior Prom is back.
After a nearly six-year hiatus the senior citizen dance, which was once a tradition, is returning this year.
The night before the traditional dance, the high school is inviting the community's senior citizens to come down and cut a rug.
With vice principal Carl Henry acting as dee jay for the evening, seniors can dance the night away to songs from Frank Sinatra and the like.
"There will be lots of Golden Oldies," Henry promised. "It's a chance to relive some musical memories."
The dance will be 6:30-8 p.m. tonight in the gym of Carson High School, 1111 N. Saliman Road, which will already be decorated for prom.
The dance is free to anyone 60 and older. Dress is informal.
