Obituary: Alma Mathis

Alma Mathis, 84, died May 28, 2011. She was born Oct. 26, 1927, in New Orleans, La. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Ron Garberson; daughter-in-law Rhonda Rice; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband James Mathis, and son Tony Rice. A memorial celebration and reception to be at 3 p.m. Sunday June 5 at 3141 Shriver Drive, Carson City.
