Carson High's freshman football team closed out its season with a 29-16 season-ending win over visiting Reno High Thursday night.

The loss upped Carson's record to 5-4. The Senators closed the season with four straight wins after an 0-3 start this year.

After a safety gave Carson a 2-0 lead, Colby Brown scored the next three Senator touchdowns on runs of 35 and 70 yards and a 20-yard pass from Skyler Fitch. Nolan Shine made it 29-0 with a 1-yard run.

Reno scored twice in the fourth quarter to complete the scoring.

Carson coach Billy McHenry lauded the play of his secondary trio of Gaige Bobbitt, Caden Lehman and Kaleb Heflin.
