George Liska (The High Mountain Ranger) passed into eternity to live with the Lord on November 16, 2011, joining his beloved wife, Babe. They danced together for 70 years and his family and friends know that they are continuing to dance with the stars in Heaven. George treasured his family above all and near the top of his list of passions were his Anaheim Angels, USC Trojans, and UCLA Bruins and of course his love for music.
He is survived by his children: Patricia and Russell, his four grandchildren: Phillip, Johnny, Julie, and Joi, and his three great grandchildren: Anthony, Zachary, and Benjamin.
George and Babe's friends are invited to attend a memorial at Fitzhenry's Funeral Home on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 1pm. 3945 Fairview Dr., Carson City, NV 89701, 775-882-2736.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that you buy a bird feeder and keep it filled year-round for George and Babe's feathered friends.
