Obituary: Carolyn Marie Dana

Carolyn Marie Dana 31, of Carson City, born January 24, 1980, died October 9, 2011 in a car accident on Highway 95 in Nevada. She will deeply missed by her two children, Keegan, age 7, and Cullen, age 4; her parents, Tom and Eileen; her four siblings Monica, Jenny, Laura and Michael. Carolyn is also survived by Grandmother Barbara Dana, her nephew and God son Donovan and two nieces Shaleigh and Annabella as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Carolyn was a loving mother whose whole life surrounded her two boys. She loved them so much and would do anything to ensure their happiness. In her short life, she not only positively impacted the lives of her family and friends; she also was able to courageously overcome the many struggles she was faced with. Carolyn will be remembered for her contagious smile which would create a special presence in any surrounding. At any opportunity Carolyn would find the humor regardless of the situation. Carolyn was a delight and we are all lucky to have known her. Three words to describe Carolyn: sweet, loving and kind.

We will miss her so much and know that she will always be with us.

Please join her family and friends celebrate the life of Carolyn Marie, on Thursday October 13 at 5:30 pm for rosary and a funeral mass to follow on Friday October 14th at 12pm at St. Terasa's Catholic Church in Carson City.
