Jolene Ann Orvis passed away at age 50, September 11, 2011. She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on March 6, 1961. She has been a resident of Douglas County, NV since 1972. She was an amazing Wife, Mother, Sister, Daughter, and Friend. She was full of life and happiness, and always loved to bring everyone together to celebrate life. She was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed spending time at Lake Tahoe with family and friends. Her green thumb was above many and spending time in the sun was her favorite past time. Everyone who met her loved her and she loved everyone she met. She will truly be missed by Husband Scott Orvis, Daughter Jennifer Orvis, Son David Orvis, and those whose life she touched in such a special way. Jolene will always be remembered. A Celebration of Jolene's Life will be held on Friday, September 16, 2011 at 10:00 am at Calvary Church in Carson City, NV. 1635 Clearview Drive Carson City, NV 89701.
