Obituary: Myrtle Mae Strickler Seeber Stevens

Myrtle Mae Stevens passed away Sunday, July 22nd, 2012 in Reno, Nevada following a lengthy illness. She was born in Anchorage, Alaska on March 25th, 1942, and later moved to Morro Bay, California with her parents where she spent her teenage years.

Mom absolutely loved life and sticking up for the under-dog. She enjoyed needle point, camping & fishing, traveling, and her circle word puzzles. She especially loved watching old black & white movies and the MASH TV program. Mom also loved Carnations.

Mom is survived by her second husband, George Stevens of Wellington, Nevada, her three children from her first marriage to Ken Seeber (who is still living), Roxane Seeber of Corcoran, California, Carmen & Allen Britton of Tomball, Texas and Glenn & Jennifer Seeber of Carson City, Nevada. Myrtle is also survived by her three grandchildren Jennifer & her husband Ben Harper, Neal & his wife Ashley Blythe and Patsy Blythe as well as six great-grandchildren, Dominick & Wyatt Harper and Haiden, Kylan, Tayven & Devyn Blythe. Her surviving step children are Marcia Stipek, Valerie Stevens and Diana Van Middendorp.
