Burke and Graham, who were fined and sentenced to jail for stealing cigars, will not end their troubles, because when they end their term, they will be indicted by the United States Grand Jury for selling unstamped cigars, and will be confined to the Nevada State Prison.

Under the new code when a man is sentenced to death he may choose either hanging or being shot. Andrija Mirkovich, who was found guilty of murder in the first degree in Tonopah, chose the bullet. He is sentenced for execution Aug. 23.

Carson Superintendent of Schools, Chas. Priest has been ordered to McClelland Field, Sacramento for physical examination for fitness in active duty. Supt. Preist served in World War I as first lieutenant in the signal corps.
