Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail on Monday. All are innocent unless proved guilty in court.
• Trevor James Neilson, 22, of Gardnerville, was arrested about 6 p.m. Monday on a felony warrant charging him with failure to appear in court after the admission of bail in Carson City and misdemeanor warrants charging him with failure to appear and contempt of court from Douglas County. The felony warrant stemmed from an original felony charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. He was taken to the jail from the drug court in Carson City. He had no bail.
• A 32-year-old Carson City man was arrested about 10:15 p.m. Monday and charged with disobeying a traffic control device and riding a bicycle on a sidewalk, both misdemeanors. A deputy reported seeing the man ride his bicycle through the red light at U.S. Highway 50 and U.S. 395, where the deputy and other drivers were stopped. The deputy reported finding the man near Thurman's Ranch House riding his bike on the sidewalk, despite there being a bicycle lane next to him. His bail was $65.
