Application for pardon: Application for pardon was made on behalf of Morris Marks who was convicted in Lander County three years ago for an assault with intent to kill. He had been recently married and a child born to him. He did not see the child until he had been in State Prison for a year. The wounded man has recovered and suffered no inconvenience from the cut... Leading citizens of Austin recommended his pardon which was granted.
