Q: What are your favorite sports and why?A: Soccer because I love the running and the people I play with, and track because it is more of a solo sport, and if I mess up I have nobody to blame but myself.Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete and why?A: Michael Phelps because he has worked hard to accomplish so much.Q: How do you feel about drug/alcohol testing at the high school level? Should it be random or should everybody on a team be tested at least once during the season?A: I don’t mind the testing because I don’t have anything to worry about. I think it should be random.Q: If you saw a teammate using drugs or alcohol, what would you do? Would you talk to him about it or turn him into the coach?A: I think I would talk to them about it before I jumped to telling on them.Q: The Olympics just ended. How much of the coverage did you watch and what sport did you enjoy watching the most and why?A: I watched almost every night. I loved watching the track events, especially the hurdles because it gives me a chance to watch professionals and learn from them.Q: Do you have any hobbies, and if so, what are they?A: Church.Q: Do you have a favorite TV show?A: Pretty Little Liars and the Regular Show.Q: What is your favorite food?A: Chicken strips.Q: What is the last non-academic you read?A: “Lock & Key” by Sarah DessenQ: If you could change one thing about your high school, what would it be?A: I would make the people at school more spirited.Q: What sport isn’t offered at the high school level that you think should be?A: I would love it if we had a swim team, but we need a pool firstQ: After graduation, where do you plan to attend college and what are you looking at in terms of a major?A: I’m looking into attending Feather River or UNR. I’m not sure what I’d like to major in, but I want to do something like work in a center for senior citizens.
