Capital Jewelers donating portion of sales to Ron Wood

Capital Jewelers will support the Ron Wood Family Resource Center by contributing 20 percent of sales from the Sarah's Hope jewelry line through December.

Sarah's Hope Jewelry, consisting of earrings, bracelets and pendants, provides support for women around the world in education and business, according to Capital Jewelers owner Dawn Sellers. Through the Sarah's Hope Giving Back Locally program, Capital Jewelers has chosen one local organization to sponsor while also supporting the enrichment of underprivileged women.

This is the second year Capital Jewelers has participated in the community giving project. Last year, more than $700 was donated to the Ron Wood Family Resource Center. The center supports local families by providing parenting classes, after school programs, life skills outreach and other resources.

"They really involve the whole community. They're family-focused. It makes you feel good, giving back to the community," said Sellers.
