Fred J. Radtke, Sr. passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on September 28, 2012; he was 67 years old. Fred went home to be with the Lord after a battle with brain cancer. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. Being a grandfather was one his greatest joys.
Fred was born in Payson, Utah on October 28, 1944 to Fern and Fred Radtke. In 1971, he moved his family to Carson City, NV from Hayward, CA. He started Radtke Tile Co. in 1974 and owned and operated the company until 2000.
As one of the founders of Clear Creek Bowmen, he served as the first president. He was also involved with Nevada Wildlife Federation, Ormsby Sportsmen Association, and Rotary. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, woodworking, and his English Setters.
Fred was an active member of LifePoint Church. He took great joy in serving the Lord. Please join us in a celebration of his life on November 2, 2012, 7 pm at LifePoint Church - 1095 Stephanie Way, Minden
