It was a clean sweep for the Truckee swim team on Friday.

The Wolverines swam past Fallon as the boys lost 151-80, and the Lady Wave fell 140-106.

Truckee’s depth was too much for Fallon as the Wolverines swept the boys and girls relay races. Lyndsey Thurston and Tina Anders placed 1-2 in the 50-yard freestyle, respectively. Thurston came in with a time of 28.91 seconds followed by Anderson at 29.44.

Sam Martin, meanwhile, was nipped by Brittany Percin in the 100 butterfly — 1:05.60 to 1:06.15. Martin, though, blew away the field in the 100 backstroke as she cruised to a nearly 14-second victory over Annie Kruck. Martin touched the wall at 1:07.53 followed by Kruck at 1:21.25.

Alex Lynch placed second in the 200 free with a time of 2:15.81. Lynch (1:02.02) and Thurston (1:06.45) and Sierra Bivens (1:11.33) placed second, third and fourth, respectively in the 100 free. Lynch narrowly lost to Amanda Nocick, who came in at 1:01.95.

Anderson (1:26.28) and Josie Bekiares (1:42.41) took third and fourth, respectively, in the 100 breaststroke.

For the boys, Keith Grimes continued his success in the 50 free. The Fallon senior (24.31) crushed the field with a three-second win over Jasper Fields of Truckee (27.52).

Grimes added another win in the 100 free with a time 57.26, more than 4 seconds faster than Baily Sonder of Truckee. Garrett Snooks (1:11.43) and Nathan Narag (1:12.27) finised fourth and fifth, respectively.

Louie Mori took fifth with a time of 32.17 and David Sandvig placed sixth (32.28).

Nathan Hamry was the lone Wave swimmer in the 100 fly, and he took fourth with a mark of 1:20.14. Kyle Grimes added a second-place finish in the 100 back (1:16.62).
