Jeffery Paul Sibley passed away suddenly at the age of 57 on July 23, 2013 at Queen of the Valley hospital in Napa, California.

Jeff was born on December 31, 1955 in Eureka, California to Roy and Margaret Sibley.

Jeff married the love of his life, LaRae, on January 28, 1985. Jeff had five children - Carl Sibley (deceased), Angela Hamilton of Auburn, California, and Jason (Harmony) Sibley, Juston (Dawn) Sibley and Cheyenne Sibley, all of Fallon.

Jeff joined the Navy in July 1973 and retired as a Master Chief 23 years later in February 1996. Jeff worked as an Aviation Hydraulics Mechanic on jets for most of his Navy career, with the F4 Phantom being his favorite plane.

Jeff grew up hunting every weekend with his dad (whom he idolized) on the family ranch in northern California. Jeff was a long time member of the American Legion in Fallon. His favorite thing to do was to spend time with his family and friends.

Jeff is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Carlina and Bill Horn of Crescent City, California;

his wife of 28 years, LaRae of Fallon; his daughter, Angela Hamilton of Auburn, CA; his son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Harmony Sibley; son and daughter-in-law, Juston and Dawn Sibley, and his daughter, Cheyenne Sibley, all of Fallon. He had 10 grandchildren whom he adored as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill and Connie Case of Whidbey Island, Washington, and Rick and Karen Cline of Fallon.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Roy Sibley and his mother and stepfather, Margaret and Herschel Bailey. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Laura Briggs; son, Carl Sibley; and sister-in-law, Paula Delaney.

Services will be held Friday, August 16 at 1 p.m. at The Gardens Chapel. There will be a Celebration of Life held immediately following the service at the American Legion Post 16, 90 N. Ada, Fallon.
