The Carson Nugget will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday for pictures with Santa.
The Carson Nugget Banquet area will be decorated, including a live Santa Claus with hot chocolate and candy canes for the children. The event is free, and parents will need to bring their own camera for photographs.
The Nugget also will collect coats to donate to those in need this winter season.
“There are a lot of adults and children in our community that do not have proper winter attire,” said Star Anderson, general manager of the Carson Nugget. “There are also many of us in the community that have extra coats just hanging in our closet. To encourage people to donate, I am offering a $10 food comp to anyone who brings in a coat during our Winter Wonderland.”
