The University of Nevada, Reno’s Winter Commencement occurred Saturday at Lawlor Events Center.
A total of 1,075 bachelor’s degrees and 386 advanced degrees or certificates (master’s and doctoral degrees and education specialist certificates) were awarded.
University President Marc Johnson wdelivered welcoming remarks.
The University has seen an increase in graduates year-after-year, granting 23 percent more degrees since 2007. A total of 3,716 degrees were granted last academic year.
