Magazine honors Nevada-based group
Nevada-based Pro Group Captive Management Services has been awarded 2013 Captive Manager of the Year by Captive Review, a magazine that focuses on risk management and captive insurance.
The award’s criteria include diversity, experience, level of services, innovation and expertise in captive and alternative risk transfer and leadership.

Gold Hill Hotel redesign announced
Catherine Macfee Interior Design, based in Truckee, announced its renovation and redesign of the first-floor parlor at the Gold Hill Hotel in Virginia City.
The project was the firm’s fourth boutique commercial project. Rustic materials such as wood, burlap, metal and leather were used to reflect the hotel’s history.
