Tahoe Symphony Orchestra will continue its 21-concert summer lineup with a celebration to mark the eighth anniversary of the symphony orchestra and chorus July 7-14.
St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church, at 341 Village Blvd. in Incline Village, will host the first concert at 5 p.m. Sunday. Mozart’s Coronation Mass will open the performance, with guest artist Michael Angelucci to perform Saint Saen’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in G minor. Soprano Joy Strotz and flutist Josue Casillas will perform Mozart’s “Variations on Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.” The concert will conclude with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 8 in F major.
Subsequent concerts will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Episcopal Church, 200 Island Ave. in Reno, as part of Artown; 7 p.m. July 11 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1041 Lyons Ave. in South Lake Tahoe; and 7 p.m. July 14 at the Resort at Squaw Creek in Olympic Valley.
Maestro James Rawie will conduct all performances. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and $5 for students ages 19-23. Preferred seating is available for $35, or $15 for students. Attendees younger than 19 are admitted free. Tickets can be purchased at the door or at www.ToccataTahoe.com.
