The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in court:

THURSDAY

3:23 p.m.: A 43-year-old Sparks man was arrested along Highway 50 East after a traffic stop for speeding revealed he had no drivers’ license and no insurance. Bail was set at $755.

4:02 p.m.: A 26-year-old Dayton man was arrested for failure to appear on a traffic citation after a traffic stop on Highway 50 East. Bail was set at $1,123.

7:32 p.m.: A 55-year-old Carson City man was arrested on a series of four outstanding warrants from Elko County. The warrants were for failure to appear on traffic citations. He also was charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding. Bail was set at $2,155.

FRIDAY

9:41 p.m.: A 49-year-old Carson City man was charged with trespassing and obstructing after refusing to leave SlotWorld on Highway 50 east. Bail was set at $800.

7:19 p.m.: a 57-year-old Carson City man was charged with DUI following a traffic stop at Highway 50 and Lompa Lane. His motorcycle was stopped because the plate’s registration had expired. Bail was set at $1,025.

8:38 p.m.: Jesse Leon of Carson City was charged with felony drug possession and possession of paraphernalia after deputies were called to investigate suspicious activity at Cactus Jack’s Casino. Deputies said they found a pipe and what is believed to be methamphetamine on his person. Bail was set at $2,500.

11:53 p.m.: A 23-year-old Carson City man was charged with first offense DUI following a traffic stop on Proctor Street near North Curry Street. The stop was initiated after the car was seen driving the wrong way on Curry Street. In addition, he was charged with driving on a suspended license and driving the wrong way on the one way street. Bail was set at $1,540.

SATURDAY

12:13 a.m.: A 23-year-old Carson City laborer was booked on charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer on East Telegraph Street after the deputy tried to break up a verbal dispute between him and a female subject. Bail was set at $750.

1:01 a.m.: A 38-year-old Carson City chef was arrested on charges of driving without a license after a traffic stop on Goldfield Avenue. Bail was set at $500. He was also held in lieu of $494 bail on a warrant charging failure to appear in a Lyon County traffic case.

1:24 a.m.: A 44-year-old Dayton woman was ordered held in contempt of court after a traffic stop on Highway 50 at Sunrise Drive. Bail was set at $500.

2:12 a.m.: A 28-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on two outstanding warrants charging failure to comply after deputies were dispatched to a domestic dispute call on Woodside Drive. Bail was set at $3,596.

3:38 a.m.: A 33-year-old transient was booked on a warrant charging petit larceny after a routine check at a Carson Street bar. Bail was set at $1,000.

12:50 p.m.: A South Lake Tahoe woman was jailed on two warrants charging failure to appear on traffic citations and driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop at Fairview Drive and Saliman Road for failing to maintain her lane. Bail was set at $2,679.

6:38 p.m.: Phelon Brown, 35, of Carson City was charged with felony home invasion and domestic battery after deputies were called to a home on Silver Oak Drive. The report says there was damage to the entrance door. Bail on the home invasion charge was set at $25,000. Bail on the battery was set at $3,000.

8:47 p.m.: A 44-year-old Carson City man was arrested on misdemeanor charges of making threats after he allegedly threatened to rape and dismember a grocery store employee. Bail was set at $500.

11:27 p.m.: A 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested on battery charges after allegedly punching a Carson Station security guard in the face while the guard was trying to break up a fight. Bail was set at $1,000.

SUNDAY

5:54 p.m.: Michael David Oliver, 25, Ely, was charged as an ex-felon in possession of a firearm by deputies who responded to a complaint of suspicious subjects trying to sell a rifle in the parking lot of Capital City Loans. A search of the SUV revealed a weapon in the seat next to where Oliver had been sitting. Bail was set at $20,000 on the felony count.

8:05 p.m.: Amber Ruth Shields, 21, of Reno was charged with battery on a prisoner following an altercation with another inmate at the Carson City Jail. Two other inmates confirmed the allegations. Bail was set at $20,000 on the felony charge.
