Fundraiser set for football trip; Pack football coach headed to Fallon

A softball tournament to benefit Fallon senior Dalton Johnson is slated for May 18 at the Fallon Adult Softball Park.

Johnson was selected to represent Nevada in the 2013 Down Under Bowl football tournament in Australia. All proceeds will benefit the cost of the trip.

The tournament is for ages 16 and older, is $250 per team and features a double-elimination format.

Polian, Knuth will visit Fallon on May 29

Nevada Athletic Director Doug Knuth and football coach Brian Polian will be in Fallon on May 29.

The two newest additions to the Wolf Pack will meet the public at Pizza Barn as the Coaches Caravan rolls into Fallon. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. with food and drink specials.

The caravan has three more scheduled stops this year including Fallon. The other two events are at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Legacy Hall in Reno and May 30 at 5 p.m. at the Carson Toyota Scion in Carson City.
