Gilpin and Hassman join Greater Nevada Credit Union

Greater Nevada Credit Union has added Jeremy Gilpin as the new vice president of business services and Rick Hassman as vice president of finance.

Gilpin brings more than 19 years of banking experience, 17 of which include commercial and agricultural lending to GNCU. He will lead Greater Nevada’s Business Services team.

Before joining GNCU, Hassman served as the chief financial officer at Aurora Federal Credit Union in Colorado. He will oversee the accounting and risk management departments.

Reed joins Lumos & Associates as manager

Randi Lyn Reed has joined Lumos & Associates, Inc., as business development manager.

Reed graduated from California State University at Northridge with a bachelor of arts in environmental science and geology. She is a member of the American Public Works Association, NAIOP, EDAWN, Nevada Mining Association and the Nevada Chapter AGC.

Fitzpatrick Water Rights launched

Fitzpatrick Water Rights and Surveying has been launched in Carson City by Buzz Fitzpatrick and Brenda Gross.

Fitzpatrick, a former Fallon resident, retired from Lumos & Associates after 26 years of work in water rights and surveying. Gross has worked 15 years with water rights.

Gryphon makes debt payment

Gryphon Gold Corp. of Carson City said it gave up additional interests in its Borealis Mining Co. LLC subsidiary to make a debt payment to Waterton Global Value Fund. The lender now holds a 62 percent interest in the company, which owns the Borealis Mine in Mineral County.


Plush Life to move to new channel June 2

Plush Life, a Northern Nevada TV show that has aired on channel 2 for the last four and a half years is moving to NBC affiliate channel 4. As of June 2, the show will air on channel 4 at 6:30 p.m. following the national news and before CSI.

Plush Life is a show that highlights all things about Reno, Sparks, Carson City and Northern Nevada.
