The St. Louis Rams were rolling with two-straight wins before running into problems in North Carolina.
Ex-Greenwave and Wolf Pack star Harvey Dahl and the Rams lost to the Carolina Panthers, 30-15, on Sunday but the bigger blow came in the fourth quarter with quarterback Sam Bradford. The Oklahoma quarterback left with an ACL injury and will miss the rest of the season after he was pushed out of bounds late in the game.
Bradford, who finished 21 of 30 for 255 yards with one touchdown and one interception, also missed the 2011 season with an injury. Bradford’s first pass on Sunday was returned for a touchdown as St. Louis struggled on the road after beating Houston last week.
The running game stalled against Carolina as the Rams tallied 63 yards. But it got worse with St. Louis being flagged for five personal fouls, including an ejection.
St. Louis (3-4) hosts first-place Seattle at the Edward Jones Dome for a key Monday Night Football matchup. The Seahawks (6-1) are off to their best start in franchise history after defeating Arizona on Thursday.

Only one undefeated Greenwave team remains in the Sierra Youth Football League.

Fallon defeated Reno, 27-0, in the Freshman division to improve to 3-3 while the Greenwave lost to Lassen, 27-18, in the Bandits division to fall to 2-4 on the year as Lassen and Reed lead the standings with perfect 6-0 records.
