Carson Tahoe Health will host its inaugural Spooktacular Stroll from 3-6 p.m. today in the north parking area at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center, 1600 Medical Parkway. There will be food, costume contests and a bounce house as well as a Care Flight helicopter and child ID kits from the Carson City Sheriff’s Office. For more information, call 775-445-5169.

The Douglas County Public Library in Zephyr Cove will host a Halloween story event for children 4 and older at 6 p.m. today. Children are invited to wear costumes. For more information, call 775-588-6411.

Mountain Springs Senior Care, 2861 N. Mountain St., will host its annual safe trick-or-treating event from 4-6 p.m. Thursday. For more information, call 775-461-5008.

Gov. Brian and first lady Kathleen Sandoval will host trick-or-treating from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Governor’s Mansion, 606 N. Mountain St.

The Carson Mall, 1313 S. Carson St., will host safe trick-or-treating from 1-6 p.m. Thursday. Participants can receive 10 percent off at Charley’s Grilled Subs by bringing a food item for F.I.S.H.

Jamba Juice, 921 Topsy Lane, will provide free smoothies to children from 2-7 p.m. Thursday.

The Lodge, 2200 E. Long St., will hold a Halloween party from 2-4 p.m. Thursday. For more information, call 775-583-8192.
