Churchill County Board of Trustees meet Thursday

A regular meeting of the Churchill County School District Board will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Churchill County Administration Office, 690 S. Maine St.

Items to be discussed and that are up for possible actions include the following:

For possible action: Approval of a change order not to exceed the amount of $9,029.97 to Ferguson Construction for unforeseen conditions on the Churchill County High School restroom renovation project.

For possible action: Approval of a change order not to exceed the amount of $94,525 to Building Solutions, Inc. for unforeseen conditions on the E.C. Best Elementary School long building and library renovation project.

For possible action: Approval of a change order not to exceed the amount of $57,052.21 to Ferguson Construction for unforeseen conditions on the Northside Early Learning Center classroom renovation project.

For possible action: Approval of a change order not to exceed the amount of $6,627.72 to Ferguson Construction for unforeseen conditions on the Numa Elementary School main entrance remodel project.

For possible action: Approval of award of a contract with Van Woert Bigotti Architects of Reno in the amount of $480,000 for design services for an auxiliary gymnasium at Churchill County High School.

For possible action: Bid opening and possible action to accept bid for the sale of the Churchill County High School construction house located at 462 Discovery Drive.

For possible action: Budget discussion regarding budget process (BMAR 17) and line item review (BMAR 27). Possible special committee to be formed to do a line item budget review and set board priorities.

For possible action: Discuss policy regarding consecutive year declining ending fund balances (BMAR 24).

Discussion and possible action: Discussion and possible action regarding the GATE program (BMAR-8).
