A regular meeting of the Churchill County School District Board will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Churchill County Administration Office, 690 S. Maine St.
Items to be discussed and that are up for possible actions include the following:
For possible action: Discussion and possible action to rename Board Policy 4450, Site Safety Committee, as “Security Committees,” and align the policy with the requirements of Nevada Revised Statutes 392.600 through 392.656. For possible action: Bid opening and possible action to accept bid for the sale of the Churchill County High School construction house located at 462 Discovery Drive, (If no bids are received, the Board can authorize the process to obtain a realtor to sell the house).
For possible action: Approve award of a contract to Ferguson Construction in the amount of $299,425.00 for construction of the CCHS welding shop remodel project.
For discussion and possible action: Request for qualifications for construction management services for current and existing projects.
For discussion only: Review of Policy P4117 - evaluation of school district employees.
For discussion and possible action: Review of agenda-setting procedures (BMAR-16).
For discussion and possible action: Schedule a forum and/or board retreat (BMAR-22/BMAR-25).
For discussion and possible action: Determine the format for a presentation regarding common core (BMAR-4).
