Fernley Comfort Inn and Suites robbed at gun point

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a male subject who allegedly robbed the Fernley Comfort Inn and Suites with a gun.

The man is described as 5-feet 8-inches with a medium build. He was wearing a blue University of Nevada, Reno sweatshirt, dark pants and a white mask.

Deputies were dispatched at 9:53 p.m. Wednesday.

The male subject left with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen walking north toward Interstate 80. The investigation is still ongoing.
