Makenzie Hospadka and Halie Bennion each hit a two-run home run during the Western Nevada College softball team’s 8-5 win over Pima College on Sunday.
Hospadka had a double to go with her homer.
Hospadka, Bennion, Cara McCarthy and Jenny Rechel combined for seven hits and six RBIs.
Carlee Beck got the win for WNC, allowing five runs over seven innings. She struck out two and walked one and surrendered nine hits.
WNC is 2-2 after the first weekend of the season.

WNC 7, South Mountain 6
The Western Nevada College picked up its first win of the season Sunday.
WNC broke a 3-3 tie with a four-run seventh inning. The Wildcats held on despite giving up two runs in the bottom of the ninth.
Joey Crunkilton, Connor Klein, Kody Reynolds, Alex Fife and Austin Andrews had two hits each for the Wildcats. Andrews drove in three.
