The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
Wednesday
At 3:58 p.m. Mario Quevedo, 27, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of being an ex-felon with failing to register, obstructing and violation of a suspended sentence, all misdemeanors. After a foot chase in the 1600 block of Brown Street, Quevedo allegedly hid in an attic where he was later located and arrested. Bail was set at $1,654.
At 8:23 p.m. a 61-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of violation of a protective order. Bail was set at $246.
At 11:50 a.m., Charles Roy Dickey, 59, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property and a failure to appear warrant out of Clark County, all felonies. The failure to appear warrant had a no bail clause. Other bail was set at $50,000.
Tuesday
At 12:30 p.m., a 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of a stalking warrant. The man turned himself in at the Carson City Jail.
At 7:15 p.m., a 19-year-old Mound House man was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving, obstructing, no proof of insurance, no registration and a probation violation — all misdemeanors. He was arrested at the Quick Stop on North Roop Street after parking the car he was driving and attempting to walk away on foot. Bail was set at $4,400.
At 6:55 p.m., a 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested on domestic battery-first offense in the 700 block of Hot Springs Road. The man got into a struggle with his step-father. In an attempt to escape the man bit his step-father on the forearm leaving a visible injury. Bail was set at $3,000.
Monday
At 10:46 p.m., a 34-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery-second offense and a warrant for battery. Bail was set at $5,000.
At 8:15 p.m., a 33-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,000.
At 3:54 p.m., James Dean Anderson, 50, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle, a felony and violation of probation, driving under the influence-first offense, possession of marijuana-less than an ounce, driving on a suspended driver’s license and contempt of court, all misdemeanors. Bail was set at $15,429.
At 9:57 a.m., Juan Garcia-Mateo, 29, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of two counts of child endangerment-first offense. Both counts are gross misdemeanors. He also was arrested on suspicion of two counts of violation of child restraints-first offense. Garcia-Mateo was driving down Carson Street when a six-month old infant allegedly fell out of the car Garcia-Mateo was driving. The infant was in a car seat that wasn’t secured into the child base, the arrest report said. The door also was unlocked and child safety lock was not activated. Bail was set at $10,100.
At 1:06 a.m., a Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense and possession of marijuana-less than an ounce. Bail was set at $1,600.
